ABOUT ME

Tom Ringberg is a local Fight Director and Stunt Performer in the Twin Cities area. Tom graduated from Augsburg University with BA in Theatre with a focus in Performance, Directing, and Stage Combat. Tom's goal as a violence choreographer is to insure the safety of everyone in the cast and crew while telling the story of Violence.

Tom has experience choreographing  Theatre productions for a wide range of clients from professional Theaters, such as Alexandria Area Arts, Chameleon Theatre Circle, and Six Elements Theatre to High Schools such as Eagan High School, Robinsdale-Cooper, Cretin-Derhm Hall, and Burnsville High School to name a few. When working with high schoolers, not only does Tom want to sure the safety of those performers but also give the students an educational experience of the world of theatre.

Tom also is an experienced stunt performer and stunt coordinator. Tom trained with the Tumble Monster Stunt Team and has experience with: Gun Shots, Explosions, Ratchets, Wire Work, Repelling, and Film Fighting. Some film productions Tom has work for are Woolley Rhino Productions, Intersection Studios, and Mars Rising Films.

Tom is also certified with Theatrical Fire Arms and has worked as a gun wrangler and a weapons technician for a variety of different film and theatre productions. If your project calls for a fire arm Tom would be honored to hear from you and how to insure the safety of your cast and crew while telling a compelling story of violence.

 

Tom has been awarded best actor as well as best scene at the 2016 National Stage Combat workshop in Winston-Salem, NC.
